PSYCHOTHERAPY OFFERINGS
About my Approach
I believe that we are here to learn and grow as beings on our journey through life. There is no destination called success or happiness at which we eventually arrive, and what we often call healing is not an end goal but a process of becoming more fully who we were always meant to be, while letting go of that which no longer serves us. By looking deeper into our stories with curiosity and compassion, while building awareness and strengthening our nervous systems we can free ourselves from needless suffering that is so often caused by over-identifying with thoughts and emotions.
As a fellow human on this journey of self-discovery I have also known sadness, anger, confusion, despair. Like many of us, I too struggle to achieve balance and experience doubt. I am not here to provide you with solutions or magic cures because they do not exist. But, I can offer you tools for your journey, as well as guidance and support on the path. You are not alone and what you dream of becoming already lives within you. I am simply here to support you in liberating what you already know to be your truest self.
How I Work
As a psychotherapist (LCSW), I am currently able to offer telehealth therapy appointments for California residents.
As a certified forest therapy guide I can offer virtual and in-person forest therapy experiences to interested individuals, couples, and groups. You do not need to be a California resident to access these services.
I currently offer in-person forest therapy and nature based retreat experiences in Marin and Sonoma counties. If you are located outside of this geographic area but you are interested in connecting with me regarding in-person services, please contact me directly to discuss the nature of your request.
I currently offer individual therapy for adults and teens.
My approach is relational, and I utilize many theoretical frameworks including:
